Boys, Boys, Boys

I am really falling behind on updating the blog...sorry!  Time is flying and having a hard time keeping up with everything.  Hopefully after the holidays things will calm down.
We did Thanksgiving with the Leimer's & then I headed up to Rocksprings with the boys.  Scott had to stay behind because he had to work, but he did get some things done around the house. Yay!
Here are a few pics...I am slowly learning how to use my new camera.
Have to love the hats

Having fun on Papa's slide he built for the kiddos

What mom?

Hiding behind Granny.

The boys giving the girls a 4 wheeler ride.  Hold on girls!

Cowboy Logan who had to wear his hat like this, it was the funniest thing ever.  I don't know how he could see.

Cowboy Luke!

Below are some pics from just around the house. Just playing with my camera.

Mr. Innocent

Logan looking at his big bro.  Logan will go up to Luke and say "Luke, you my brother? Luke I love you!"  It is the sweetest thing ever!

Totally impossible to get both boys looking at the camera.  This time they are looking at Scott behind/above me.
Took the boys on a train ride around Christmas decorations, they loved it and didn't want to get off.  Luke kept trying to look at the tracks while we were riding, I thought he was going to fall off!
Hopefully I will get Christmas pictures up before the New Year...whom am I kidding!!

Trick or Treat

Halloween seemed to go on & on this year.  I swear I had 2 Buzz Lightyears for 3 straight days!  Guess that is what happens when Halloween falls on a Sunday.  It all started Friday when the boys got to wear their costumes to school.  I didn't get very many pictures because I actually teach on Fridays, so I couldn't visit their classrooms.  Here is one I got at Logan's recess.
I believe he probably rides the scooter everyday, his favorite thing to do.
They also had a fun parade for the big kids to walk in.  It was really cute & Scott did a great job of getting video, but forgot to take any pictures. :(
Saturday night Scott and I went to a couple of Halloween parties ourselves.  We had a blast, but realized at 1 am at Yaga's we may be getting too old for this.  I swear the kids there looked 12.  Here we are, can you guess what we are dressed as???
Einstein & The Atomic 'Blonde' Bomb 'Shell'
Get it???
(I had a label, but it is backwards & you can't see it)
Oh, forgot to say, you have to be GT to understand!!
Then on to Halloween day!!!
The boys had fun walking up to the doors Trick or Treating, but Luke really isn't into candy & once Logan got his big sucker, he was done!
Here they are walking up to the first house.  Logan didn't want to wear his wings, which was a good idea.  Every time Luke walked by somebody he wold smack them with his wings.  He had no clue & I just kept apologizing all night long to people.
Luke walking away after getting his candy & Logan looking to see what he got.  They had a great night & we didn't get to bed till 9!!!
Wonder what they will want to be next year??

Oktoberfest & More

This past weekend was First Lutheran's Annual Oktoberfest.  The boys had a blast!
Here are the boys checking out the fire truck.  They got to push the buttons to turn on the lights & sirens...what a dream come true.
The boys also love the hoses & telling us all about how you use them to spray water on the fires.
There second favorite part was...
The big slide.  Here is Logan!
Last year I had to climb up the slide & go down it with the boys.  This year, I got to stay at the bottom and take pictures.  They are getting sooo big!
Here is Luke!
We also went to the Pumpkin Patch (in a parking lot) this week.
Luke wouldn't sit still for a picture.
Logan actually would...there is a first!
Carving our pumpkin.  Luke really was the only one interested, but only because he wanted to use the knife. (Check out Scott's beard!)
Logan checking out the pumpkin once it was finished.
Our finished project!
Here is your sneak peek for Halloween!!!
Buzz Lightyear...to infinity & beyond!
They love their costumes!
Can't wait for Halloween....

Some Day

Some day we will have a house on this lot, but until then the boys think the dirt is just fine.

They have a blast going and playing in the dirt at the lot.  Not just the little boys, even the big one too!
Taking dad the measuring tape.  Already putting him to work.
Digging up big rocks.  Who needs a house when you have dirt?
Beautiful sunset from our lot!
I can't wait for the house, although I think the boys may be disappointed that the dirt will be gone!

Mexico minus Kiddos

I finally took my first vacation without kids!!!  I can't explain the emotions going through my head...going to miss the kids, going to have fun, going to miss the kids...
Before we left we spent some extra fun time with the boys.  Here they are at the park.
Logan

Luke, notice who is the dare devil

A fun picture of Luke at therapy.  When we told him to clean up the balls, he decided to climb in it!
After our long goodbyes and tears (from me) we got on a plane to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.

 Heaven...

Japanese dinner in Mexico, the show was much better than the food.
The whole family together.
Our last day, sad to leave, but can't wait to get back to the boys!
Mom & Dad
Back to reality...
Love every bit of it!!!
So happy to be home, but sure missing the beach.  Where to go next???

It's About Time

Well after a broken camera, a new job and a huge loss I am finally posting again!! (Enjoy Carolyn!)
First day of school!
Logan thinks if he doesn't look at me he doesn't have to really go to school.  Although times have changed, because now when I drop him off, he tells me to leave.

Relaxed, watching some TV before bed.  Love how they can be so sweet to each other...sometimes!

Playing outside in the rain & 'yes' in our PJ's and undies.   Thank goodness our neighbors like us, well at least I think they do.

Luke figuring out the umbrealla

This is fun!

Precious!

Not very often I get both boys looking at the camera at once.

Decided to be tourist and took the kids to the flight muesum.  They didn't understand why they could get in the planes...I agree!

Paw, we love and miss you greatly!!!!
