Wow, what a fun & exciting week this has been!! Scott had an awesome week due to all his hard work throughout the year. First he received his Professional Engineering exam results and of course he passed with flying colors. Yeah for him & me, since I don't have to sit through months of him studying again! :) Next, he was nominated for Engineer of the Year at work, which is a great honor. So I got mom to watch the kiddos Thursday and went to the award ceremony with him at work. It was very interesting sitting there listening to the Colonel talk, I kind of forget sometimes that he works for the military. Here he is receiving a service award from the Colonel.
Notice the pin on his shirt...real military style.
Next it was time to announce Engineer of the Year, which Scott had already told me he probably wasn't getting. The other guy nominated had worked for the Corp for many years and had been published (or something) for a concept he designed. So when they called out his name I almost started crying, I can't explain how proud and excited I am for him. Here is the Colonel giving him his Engineer of the Year plaque.
I hope our sons follow in his footsteps...well at least most of them! :)
We finished off the week at Palm Beach for the Corp picnic, which was lots of fun especially since I forgot the boys floaties!

Congradulations to Scott!!! :) Good for him!
