A 'Lil of Everything

I am loving summer more & more everyday!!!  It is nice to do on our own schedule & of course go swimming almost everyday.  Last week Luke went to Vacation Bible School, which he loved.  On Friday all the kids performed the songs they learned over the week.  Luke was such a ham, he loved performing in front of the whole crowd & I could pick his singing out from everybody else's...not sure that is a compliment.

Here he is looking so handsome!
My parents and I took Luke & Camryn to their first recital.  They really enjoyed seeing all the kids dancing and doing flips.  Luke came home and told Scott he wanted to be a Princess, just like the lil' girls dancing.  After Scott about had a heart attack, we corrected him and now he wants to be a Prince!
This week we took the boys to the Summer Band Concert.  Luke loved watching the band, dancing & marching with the flags...this is his kind of outing.  Logan loved being a wild man and running all over the place.

Logan shaking the maracas!  Watch out!
Luke holding the beat with two...he loves anything with music.

Here we are marching in the flag parade.  Way past bedtime & ready to go home!  Why is it the later a kid goes to sleep the earlier they wake up??
Luke had his annual cardiologist appointment this week too.  I was very worried about him sitting still through all the test, but he did awesome.  I give the nurses and doctors a lot of credit, because they really know how to make a child feel comfortable in an uncomfortable situation.

Here is Luke getting his EKG.
We got very good news at this appointment, 2 out of his 3 holes are closed.  The last hole is very very tiny, so not too worried about it!  Since he is doing so good & his heart is looking so good, we don't have to go back for 2 years.  YEAH!!!  Crazy to think he will be 5 then.  They grow so fast!
I'll end with a picture of Scott.
My biggest child going down the slide...this is why my blog is call Three Boys & a Mom!
